Video feedback was in hindsight rated significantly less shameful than before. Subjectively, there was no significant difference between the four approaches regarding effectiveness or the potential to arise shame. Objective learning success showed CL to be significantly less effective than the other approaches; additionally, T showed a trend towards being more effective than G or ST. Conclusions: There was no superior approach as such. But CL could be shown to be less effective than G, ST and T. Feelings of shame were higher before watching one’s video feedback than in hindsight. There was no significant difference regarding the different approaches. It does not seem to make any differences as to who is delivering the video feedback as long as it is a real person. This opens possibilities to adapt curricula to local standards, preferences, and resource limitations. Further studies should investigate, whether the present results can be reproduced when also assessing external evaluation and long-term effects.]]> Wed 17 Aug 2022 11:59:17 AEST ]]> Understanding motivation for Australian adolescents and young adults with cystic fibrosis: Modifiable factors to support self-management https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:47108 Wed 14 Dec 2022 10:05:30 AEDT ]]> Recommendations from recent graduates in medicine, nursing and pharmacy on improving interprofessional education in university programs: a qualitative study https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:16793 Wed 11 Apr 2018 18:23:59 AEST ]]> Culturally and linguistically diverse students in health professional programs: an exploration of concerns and needs https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:23642 Wed 11 Apr 2018 15:21:29 AEST ]]> Parent attitudes, family dynamics and adolescent drinking: qualitative study of the Australian parenting guidelines for adolescent alcohol use https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:15171 Wed 11 Apr 2018 14:00:48 AEST ]]> Family-based prevention programs for alcohol use in young people https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:24221 Wed 11 Apr 2018 11:05:38 AEST ]]> Social networking versus Facebook advertising to recruit survey respondents: a quasi-experimental study https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:20398 Wed 11 Apr 2018 10:22:07 AEST ]]> Parents’ concerns about Leavers celebrations: A cross-sectional study https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:49871 Wed 07 Jun 2023 16:01:42 AEST ]]> Whole-of-community interventions to reduce population-level harms arising from alcohol and other drug use: a systematic review and meta-analysis https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:35769 8; three trials (7 data points), relative risk (RR) = 0.78, 95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.62-0.99)], but found no impact on past-month alcohol use (five trials, RR = 0.95, 95% CI = 0.89-1.02), binge drinking (five trials, RR = 0.97, 95% CI = 0.89-1.06) or 12-month marijuana use (two trials, RR = 0.98, 95% CI = 0.86-1.11). Narrative synthesis indicated some reductions in AOD-related assault rates and arrests, but were equivocal for quantity of alcohol consumed, 12-month illicit drug use, assault or abuse, motor vehicle accidents and hospital admissions.
